They might think they should be allowed to stay up later or scrap bedtime altogether, but if they’re not getting the right amount of good quality sleep each night, they won’t be able to concentrate at school. Most people need around 8 hours of sleep each night, but this might be more depending on your child’s age.
Exercise is important for a child’s physical health and fitness, but it also helps them on a mental level. When we exercise, certain endorphins are released that help us tackle stress and other negative emotions. So, try to encourage your child to exercise on a regular basis to help with their physical and emotional wellbeing, even if its just a short walk each day. As a result, they should be in a better position to tackle any challenges that come their way, whether at school or in their personal lives.
